Satan’s Entry

Santans Entry.JPG

March really snuck up on me…like where has the rest of 2017 gone? We will be singing Christmas carols again before we know it!

Physical doors are a pivotal part of our everyday life, as we use them for entering and exiting public buildings, our homes, cars etc. However, we also encounter spiritual doors through out our day as well. We can let positive things and thoughts enter our hearts, while the negatives ones exit. Or we can let negative things and thoughts enter our hearts, while the positive ones leave. It really depends on us and whether or not, we will choose to be active custodians over our thought lives.

Yesterday morning, God showed me how I was not being the stellar custodian over my life like I should have been. He said, “Don’t give the devil halfway entry into your life by partially adopting his lies.” Guilty as charged! I know God says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”, but I actually meditate on, “I suppose I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”. When the devil comes to feed me doubts, I rebuke him, but then subconsciously rearrange my innermost thoughts to adopt pieces of his tall tales.

Giving Satan and his schemes, any space in our mind is dangerous, as when you give him a piece, he infiltrates the entire thing. I pray that as God’s children, we will walk based on His promises, and looking unto Jesus…without any reasoning, analyzing or partiality that comes from Satan himself.

We must deny, not grant access to the father of lies!

Until Sunday,

In my Bible reading this morning, I came across this in 2 Corinthians 7:1. “Therefore, since we have these promises [that we are God’s people], dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.” Praying for you!
